Molded into a definite shape in 1999, Plato's Halo burst onto the Mp3.com web scene with chart topping numbers winning them thousands of fans.

Selling thousands of cd's to fans all over the world  Plato's Halo was invited to be included on the worldwide acclaimed compilation series Progressive Disdurpance Vol 3.
PH received hundreds of reviews and added lots of friends from around the world to their ever-growing list from the song "In the Pink" Featured there.

"I can understand why so many new listeners thought I was so Kate Bush-like in my style if they only heard that one tune" says Plato's Halo vocalist and writer Marija Rawlins when asked about her influences, "But we heard from so many that were exposed to the rest of our music and were pleasantly surprised at how they might have been mislead! I am certainly a fan of the female voices of Kate Bush, Ann Wilson, Cindy Lauper, Fiona Apple, Paula Cole and Anneke Van Giersbergen among many others. However, I tend to be influenced by the Male vocalists like Steve Walsh of Kansas , Danny Elfman of Oingo Boingo , Jon Anderson of Yes, Freddie Mercury of Queen and most recently I pulled my inspiration for "Bombs Away" from Zack De La Rocha of Rage Against the Machine and Trent Reznor of Nine inch Nails.".

Glenn Kachulis AKA "G" became internationly known when fans discovered "Riding the Dragon" an epic piece of guitar playing that some have claimed to be true Progressive Rock. But dont pigeonhole him in that genre since his style is quite diverse. G's other talents as Producer, writer, and all around fun guy earned him the years best all around instrumentalist in Las Vegas for two years running. "I wrote "Riding the Dragon" When Phil Ehart of Kansas fame had given us some enthusiastic support after he heard "Swept Off my Feet", I really just let it write itself." In Regards to the new album "Corona" Glenn said, "Art Love" is my most ambitious work to date".
When asked about his influences we got such a long list we had to edit but it included such names as Jan Ackerman, Frank Zappa, Kieth Emmerson, Paco De Lucia, Nine Inch Nails, John McLaughlin, Jimmy Page, King Crimson, Genesis, Gentle Giant, Dr. Dre, Steve Morse, Thomas Dolby, (this went on for quite awhile).

Plato's Halo has been invited to play festivals around the world including Brazil, France, Holland and Germany. In Japan PH has been hailed as "Baroque Pop" with lush vocals and backgrounds. While this is a great description, Baroque Pop does not cover the unique styles of  Platos Halo's music. If you had to pigeon hole them you would have to have a large coop to cover several styles such as Rock, Dance, Progressive Rock, Art Rock, Experimental, Indie Pop and many other categories.
